The kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity of Cotep has once again shown its colors like no other forum can.

I had just gotten home and was upstairs talking with Mayla when I heard a vehicle pull up. Thinking it was one of her daycare parents, I looked out the window to see which one.

What I saw was a delivery guy getting out of his van holding a box. My keen monkey vision noticed it was sealed with Amazon sealing tape. I know I hadn't ordered anything, so I asked Mayla if it was hers and she shook her head no.

Upon retrieval of said Amazon package, it was indeed addressed to me. Tearing at the package like a kid would a free candy bay, I was surprised to find the following:

A US Army KA-BAR knife and a US Army Armor branch coin.

Now, I have no idea what I did or why someone would go out of their way to do this, but I gotta tell ya, what an AWESOME gesture this was! I was already having a happy Friday (work was slow and easy, sun is out shining bright), but now I'm having a freaking awesome Friday!!!!

Whomever you are out there in Cotepia, I just want you to know that I am really touched by your gifts and will treasure them forever. Good things will come your way as a result of this good deed. Now I will have to come up with a way of passing on this gracious karma.

He politely reminded me how short my memory is/was.

He mentioned last week that I was going to get a box of dog sh**. I figured he was joking, right? He claims Amazon was fresh out of said dog crap, so they threw the knife and coin in as replacements.
