Default All Ready!!

Being Monday is a holiday, I have the day off. The wife does not, the kid has preschool so tonight i prepped about 2,000 pieces of 45 and about 500 rounds of 10MM. I will be a busy boy on Monday, hoping to get it all run through the Dillion in a day. I will post some pics when finished. Hoping that it runs smoothly too. First real test that I will give the 650. I have done batches of 100 or 200 but never in the thousands.
Pretty eager to give it a whirl.

Sounds like quite an enterprise!

Most I can remember loading on my 550 at one go is 400 rounds, and I need about that much more to be ready for brownie's next Volusia class in late March.

Even at that, the back gets talking to me pretty good before I'm done.

does this mean you are going to start taking ammo orders??? if so i'll take 4000 45acp, hold the case, bullet and primer and just send the 231.

have fun my friend!

I really need to put my square deal together and load some 45acp, just haven't had the chance.

, you say you have a Dillon XL 650, you should be able to run through those 2000 45ACP in about 4 hours and the 500 10MM in about an hour, depending if everything is set-up correctly and all goes as it should.

I had a Dillon RL550B and ran it through its paces, just once mind you at full speed and I did indeed reload 500 pieces of 45ACP in 1 hour without any press problems or reload malfunctions. Of course I was anal when I reloaded and checked every 10th round for being correct.........over kill, maybe but in my reloading experience I never had a bad round!!! For every caliber I reloaded I also had a deluxe quick change assembly, made it so much easier when changing calibers.

Of course I did not load 500 per hour either after the first trial period!!!
