Default Senate to vote on gun control

From another forum

Quote:
I have it on good authority that the US Senate is scheduled to vote on gun control Monday morning. They were going to vote today, but the deluge of phone calls and emails have made them regroup and delay.

The proposal most likely to pass is the Cornyn proposal which will allow the FBI to delay gun sales of law abiding Americans for 7 days if they are on a watch list. After 7 days they have to get a judge to sign off to prohibit the sale.

It is IMPERATIVE that you contact your senators and tell them NO DEALS, NO GUN CONTROL, and NO CORNYN PROPOSAL:

Thanks for posting this. Politicians make me absolutely sick. A guy murders a bunch of people, and politicians use it as a means to screw innocent citizens.

I used the NRA's pre-formatted letter to contact my local "rulers" a couple days ago.

Email sent. However, I think Oklahoma's folks know the risks.

It's important that those in the sponsor's districts get on the stick!!
