FNG from FL
Hello. Names Dave and just recently found out about the site from another member. Been around guns most my life and finally bought a couple 1911's, but had to sell one off. Just got the one I played around with now. Its a SA 1911 GI A1. Been doing some training of late and looking for to BSing with you'all.
Here's some pics. I'm not done yet. Still need to have it refinished for the 3rd time. This was my first attempt at smithing. Not as bad s rebuilding a motor or so I thought lol.  Then it started.    Opening the ejection port.  Current step
