Hello,
I am a new member here at cotep, and very much excited to be part of the action. I am also a member over at 1911forum under the name LettucePray27. I recently purchased a DW Guardian and fell into the bottomless pit of modification addiction... it was originaly purchased as a blem, but I removed all the tooling marks and shipped it our for a matte hard chrome frame. Next on the list is a set of grips and I will be happy for now. I must confess that I was a little discouraged about the blems at first, but it was nothing I couldnt fix with a file, some elbow grease, and a good refinisher. Now I am happy to say that I am proud of my choice, and have been noticing how inferior many other brands have been compared to that of my DW. I can be a little ocd at times, but it aids me in what I do!
