Hello from Michigan

Hello everyone,

Just ordered my first 1911 today, a Dan Wesson Valor Stainless Steel and I couldn't be happier (until I take delivery). I do most of my shooting on my family's property where we have mostly shot skeet but recently started with handguns a bit more. I am looking to join a couple shooting leagues to keep me busy over the winter months and to help me become more familiar with my new weapon. Can't wait to talk with everyone and learn from your collective wisdom.

Also, I am curious about the COTEP #'s, how do I go about getting one and a membership card?
