 and a unit award: 1-101st Attack, 101st Abn Div (AASLT)  Oddly enough, I was in the Army for 8 years before I ever got my first award other than service ribbons.

It's worn as pictured centered, on the right shoulder, hooking up under the right breast lapel. Got to shoot German Lugers, an MG-42 and a few other guns. Pissed off a lot of people in my company as I was awaiting an Article 15 and still got to go and do this, only a select few were chosen. We won't go into why I was in trouble...hehehehe
