I have a Kimber Pro Raptor SS with four inch barrel and full length guide rod which I would like to replace witha a good quality GI style recoil plug and guide rod. Any suggestions on what and where to get will be appreciated. No , I'm not getting rid of the Kimber
Thanks!

This is a "Dave" question - but I think all you need is the GI guide rod and a new recoil spring plug. I'd get good quality SS parts from Brown or Wilson. I don't think you'll need to muck around with the barrel bushing.

Okay, you blew your one and only Don't Get Banned Pass............

I like Wilson, and Ed Brown parts, you will need a new GI Guide Rod, Guide Rod Spring and End Plug..............

Yes, IMHO because they are cheap, and why not replace so he doesn't have to do it so he won't have to do it later on????????

Good point. And if you go with Wolff springs, they throw in a free firing pin spring.

Jim, good luck with that, I had a Pro Carry II with the same system. Couldn't get a USGI Guide-rod to work with that Bull Barrel, no room.
