Default Another reason Wal Mart sucks

A buddy of mine who works at Wal Mart (Sporting Goods) Bought a .22 for his wife, A pink woodland camo Remington. After buying it he had to be escorted to the front door by a Manager. The manager had to carry the NIB .22 for him, Wal Mart will not let you carry your NIB firearm yourself.

As they were walking the manager DROPPED said NIB.22. He thought since it was NIB that it was no big deal.......WRONG once he got home he opened it and it was BROKEN. He was LIVID!!!!!!

But he knew he was screwed since Wal Mart has a Strict no refund policy on all guns and ammo.

IMO the manager should have open the box and check for any damage or at least he should have asked her to.

He is calling Remington Monday, Hopefully they can help him.

Not a Walmart defender here, but: If it happened to me, no way we leave the store without inspecting the gun. OTOH, how freaking hard did it get dropped to break a gun in a box? Remington's are pretty well packaged.
