Default some changes to my SR1911

Got some parts in today that I bought from a guy on 1911forum, so figured I might as well fit them and see how it looks.

I still need to reshape the back of the thumb safety to match the frame contour and find someone to media blast it to match the pistol. Its odd that the Ed Brown mag release and chainlink msh were both a blasted finish that matched my pistol, but the Ed Brown thumb safety was almost a polished finish lol.

I changed the thumb safety, msh, and mag release from matte blue to stainless. I will also be changing the slide stop to stainless.

I was wanting people's opinion. How do you think it would look if I left the grip safety matte blue/black to match the back surface of the hammer, the firing pin stop, and ejector? If I did that, should I also leave the pins black?

thanks guys! What you think about my idea of leaving the grip safety black to go with the hammer, FPS, & ejector? Im kind of digging the look, but want some other opinions. I can change them all to S.S. later, or leave them black.

Looking good brother! Since you asked for my opinion...I say continue with the stainless look and change out the grip safety. I wouldn't worry about the hammer, FPS or ejector. But what do I know...hehehe.
