Now this is just downright despicable.

A Columbus Police Officer was hospitalized after injuring his mouth when hit bit into a sandwich that had glass in it.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 2:46pm, Monday, an officer was eating at a Columbus restaurant, when he heard a crunching noise as he bit into a sandwich.

The officer realized his mouth was bleeding and noticed glass in his sandwich.

The officer was hospitalized and medical tests were performed.

We have every only had once incident that I am aware of here in sd. Two troops ordered a pizza from a large chain and they found thumb tacks in it. Never ate any but were prosecuted for assault and the place paid them money for compensation. the two officers didn't ask for the money but the pizza chain was more than happy to give them money to save face.

We eat at certain places we know are good to us. You figure them out really fast. We know what is save to eat or not usually.

Its something I try not to think about though...would probably 30lbs next week.
