Default Assault on our 2A imminent!

Hi guys.

I have been watching the news. They're turning the full attention of this issue to guns, the fact the shooter used a machine gun of type to mow down the audience. The rhetoric is non-stop. We are going to see a full assault on our right to carry and more importantly to OWN (ie: AR15).

Stay vigilant, donate, support, be vocal when it counts the most.

Thoughts and prayers with Las Vegas, always.

The perceived issue of how easy is to get a gun in America (harder than most third world country black market) is being exploited by every news outlet. They want congress or senate to act on gun control, everyone rallying up behind this emotional response! I feel it's gonna get ugly.

But thank goodness some good voices of reason also being interviewed, pro gun folks that are well spoken and eloquent.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

And accurately shot 5.56 over 1100 yards and it still had energy to be that deadly?

The bullets were dropping, think about people killed with bullets shot into the air when they come back down. Bullets don't just float down.

According to this site http://gundata.org/blog/post/223-ballistics-chart/

At 1000 yards it will still have 783 fps.

783 fps? That's almost as fast as a 45 acp!

I am assuming of course that he used 5.56 ammo. 45 ACP uses a 230gr bullet and 5.56 uses either a 55gr or 62gr bullet. So as far as if I had to choose which to get hit with I would take the 5.56 of course. Remember he fired at least 1000 rounds. Possibly double that. He killed 58 and I think the injured was over 500. Not all 500 injuries were bullet wounds. Injuries from the crush to get away would have been included but with 20,000 people in a crowd and just raining bullets down it is easy to see how close to 600 people were injured or killed.
