Default New EDC Blade

Gail noticed I haven't been feeling up to par and found a wish list that I didn't really want her to know about.

On the list was a blade I've been interested in for some time.

I've been carrying a Spyderco Sage Carbon for a couple of years, but really wanted its more expensive brother, the Sage Titanium. Never did want to spend the $$, though.

Today Gail handed me a Titanium.

The two are exactly the same size, but the Titanium is a Chris Reeve Liner Lock. This knife is just two slabs of titanium with a blade between them, bronze bearings, three screws, and a wire clip.

Very light, very strong, very discrete and concealable. As you can see from the pics, the clip ends way up at the top of the knife, so very little shows in your pocket. In my view, the perfect EDC blade.

Here's some pics of the two alongside each other.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Don't overlook the SOG Flash II. They are a great carry knife, I have one and LOVE it...I take it everyplace I go. Feel naked with out it. Its kind of hard to carry in the shower though

Heck, give it a shot - you never know.

Course you have to cook her dinner and take out the garbage and keep the cars running and mind the kids and... and...

But hell, I can use the help!
