What do you use? I'm looking for suggestions on brand/style or if you just use your standard sunglasses (for outside) or safety glasses (ex: Home Depot style).
Is there an advantage to purchasing "shooting" glasses? I'm using the standard Home Depot style safety glasses right now but, they give me a headache if worn for a long period of time (I think it's because they have a funky curve to the lens). ![]()

I use Randolph Rangers and Decot HY-Wyde. Rudy project are great glasses if you go for the wilder style. Shooting pistols it is not as important as shotguns and rifles.Shooting glasses are designed to set higher on the face (above eyes) so that when you lower your head you are not looking at the top of the frame. There are other issues like, prescriptions, you can get different color lenses for different conditions. Not just tinted, yellow and clear. The biggest difference is fit. A good set of shooting glasses can be fit so they are not moving all over you face and are optically correct and not just a cut out sheet of plastic. My 2 cents.

I have several, cheap brands, and they work for me. If you shoot in competition or just a lot, you may want to brand up. Oakley sunglasses are impact rated, so outside (before my grandson got ahold of them) I wore them.

I use Oakley SI Ballistic M Frame with the Ballistic lenses. I change lens color if I'm inside or outside
I buy from here, and they always have coupons. They have lens separate too if you want different colors http://www.safetyglassesusa.com/okt-oo9146-01.html

I mainly wear Nemisis glasses. They are readily available in the machine at work. You cannot beat free.
