Default My collection

I keep a few sharp objects around. I do carry them all.

SOG neck knife

Hen & Rooster 8-inch Bowie

Spyderco Perrin Street Bowie along with Kershaw Tanto Blur

My wife keeps this Mora on hand too

I like sharp objects. The sheath on the Perrin is tuckable so I carry that whenever. The commodore sheath isn't so I usually only carry the H&R when I'm dressed casually.

The Kershaw is always in my pocket.

Really like that Perrin.

Nice tools.

Just released that the pix of the Perrin doesn't have the newer sheath I had made.

Here it is with some of my guns and the holsters I use.

Any suggestions for a good yet light neck knife with a three or four inch blade?

Awesome stuff Edgehill, I really love the H&R! What does something like that cost? and I am seeing that Panther Concealment has made a really nice sheath for it! I had to sell my Perrin with a Panther Concealment sheath a while back, the buyer graciously said I could buy it back, but it has been tough trying to set the funds aside again, maybe/hopefully someday if he is still cool with it.

I use the CRKT Minimalist line pretty much exclusively, but the blade is not quite as long as your looking for... (2") But mine are usually strictly for SD purposes, and obviously last ditch...

My favorite is the Bowie which is shown in the link above, but they also have a Tanto blade, a Wharncliffe style, and a new Keramin style seen here at my favorite online knife shop:

http://www.cutleryshoppe.com/crkt238...dedsheath.aspx

I have them all except for the Keramin, great neck knife IMO! Just shop around as prices vary greatly, and most of the versions can be had for under 20.00

Sorry for the sidetrack here!

The SOG I have is pretty good. $30 or so at Bass Pro. It's not easy to sharpen though.

I know someone with the Kabar TDI Law Enforcement knife and he likes it. Utica makes a decent one too.

My personal preference is it should be stainless since it will be next to your skin and I prefer a finger hole.

I have a little dagger neck knife and my hand always slides down so the finger hole is nice to keep the knife where you want it.

Oh yeah and look at the Cold Steel Double Agent.
