Got this ammo up in South Carolina, a neighbor owed me so he says..."here, this is hard to find, I never got the rifle so take it".....Anybody knwo if this is the Holy Grail he called it?


This is it next to .22 MAG then .22 LR

I just got back from my LGS, he says he won't sell the rifles cause he cannot get them ammo, and if it becomes available it is an arm and a leg.
I thought a member here was looking for it, my memory is for sh*t. I need to search threads tonite when kids are sleeping.

I got it confused with the .17 HMR which my OP has been updated to remove the inaccurate info...

Y looks like a niche find for sure, and the only link to the actual sale of the ammo was out of stock and no backorder, looks like it may have been discontinued or in very rare limited runs? Either way, tough news for guys that own a rifle that chambers that!

I think I remembered who was looking for it, sent him a PM. I'm gonna lose anyway, the guy owed me more than it could ever be worth, but I didn't want to stress him, he is not doing well so I just said OK.

Actually I forgot I was looking for this ammo some months ago. I tripped on this box......
Plenty of .22 around in Gander, Dicks......premium price. Of all the missing ammo .22 bothers me most. I have A-L-O-T, but I also have three kids who blow through 7500 rounds in a week up in SC. I'll never have enough .22!
