Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under this fancy "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets re-elected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies.

If Bill out-lives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary out-lives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies.
Guess who pays for that? WE DO.

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY
residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua. New York . Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting.
Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built by the Government within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents. Any improvement to property is owned by the property owners...
the Clinton 's.

SO.....the Clinton 's charge the Federal government $10,000
monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. The ONLY EX-president to use this loophole. This means that we, the taxpayers, pay the Clinton 's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff and this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her? NO!

And she has the gall to say that they were broke when they left the White House.

Secret service protection is not free for life. It is free for something like 10 years after office and then they have to pay after that. It may have been changed during Bush so maybe they are free for life. I will check and post back.

Looks like I was right and wrong. It was life and in 1997 changed to 10 years then in 2012 changed back to life.

The original act provided for lifetime Secret Service for former presidents. In 1997, it was reduced to 10 years for presidents taking office after 1997. The 1997 amendment was reverted by the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012 (Public Law 112-257).[2] All living former presidents and their spouses are now entitled to receive lifetime Secret Service protection.[3]

Honestly I don't have an issue with Presedential protection or pensions for life. I see it as respect for the office. Even if you don't respect the person who held it.

I don't necessarily have a problem with protection for life, but I do have a problem with charging rent. These people are scumbags.

Sorry MPDC but the joke is on the folks who blindly pass on these type of emails without any fact checking. Kinda like "Forward this email to every you know and you will recieve $10 for every one from AOL or Microsoft, etc."

Well, more than this needs fact checking where statements BY OR ABOUT the Clintons are concerned.
