I stand for the flag, I kneel for the fallen!

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you'll have to catch up.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

I wouldn't have thought this would be a question. The "overhand" method requires larger movement.

I was interested to see just how little difference there was.

I personally have never racked the slide on a reload. People with well worn Glocks find that just slamming the new mag home releases the slide.

That happens when you the mag into the well towards the rear.

My take is this, I prefer the overhand sling shot method. That's what I teach as well. It's a gross motor skill.

To that end, my recommendation is pick one and stick to it. Work it, practice it, make it your own, and make it an ingrained memory.
