Default PTR South Carolina Commemorative Rifle

Hey Guys/Gals......Took possession of this rifle Saturday morning. It is a .308 HK clone from PTR industries in Aynor, South Carolina. PTR bought the prints to these rifles and manufactures them in SC. They used to buy surplus HK parts, assemble them, and sell them. Now they have the machinery to do actual manufacturing. When PTR moved to SC from Connecticut amidst the new guns laws being implemented they immediately issued the South Carolina Commemorative Rifle. This was supposed to be a 1000 gun limited run, but sales dropped off and they have just reached about 700 Those guns are serial numbered SCXXX. This is is serial numbered SCCR1000 and is the only rifle in the world with the SCCR prefix. I don't know if there will be a range report, this may be an investment rifle. But I will post a video when we are up in SC. Here are some cell pics, one at the gunstore and two at home.

Ditto on the Texas model. They need a Virtute et Armis model (Mississippi motto - By Valor and Arms)

They already have a PTR MSR, so all they have to do is stamp Virtute et Armis on one side and By Valor and Arms on the other and VOILÀ!
