Since I had to move my safe and had to empty it out I decided to add some lighting while it was empty. Mine has an outlet inside so I ran a power surge strip and some rope light up the sides and around the top. The power strip provides an on/off switch. And the rope light puts off a decent amount of light to see what's going on. Eventually like to add a dehumidifier. Just wondering what other people have used to illuminate the inside of their toy boxes.

I did the same thing kind of...what I did was wired an outlet box in the bottom corner of my safe and then ran the one cord out the hole in the back now as long as I plug it in I have an outlet in my safe. I used ropelighting aswell and now I can plug my rope lights and my golden rod in at one location. Simple as can be.
