Default New to COTEP. So-Cal

Hi,

My name is Rick. I am new to COTEP, but not to firearms or 1911's. My previous favorite 1911 was my Clackamas Kimber Classic. I say previous favorite because last summer I gave it away. In a fit of love and generosity towards my 4 sons, I threw open my safe and told them they could pick anything thay wanted, no strings attached, everything was open to selection. After drawing straws to establish the selection order, they picked my Winchester 101 o/u skeet gun, my Clackamas Kimber, M1 Garand, and West German Sig P226. They left many more expensive guns in the safe. Each chose guns they had learned to shoot with, and which they had grown up shooting from an early age. It was gratifying to see that they had chosen guns which had pleasant memories.

My sons are all shooters, and more importantly, responsible, honest trustworthy adults.

Sorry this intro is so long, but this is who I am...

Regards,

Rick
