Why 270wsm? Just curious. Do you have to shoot so many times you need the short action?

I'm still stuck on the .22 Hornet....just sold a Walnut one.....I have friends up in SC that run .270, all they have is Savage, but I would need to call for the exact gun. Oh, and no wood stocks for them. Those guns get used in any weather.

las, the .270 is a great all around cartridge!!!

I use to hunt with the head game warden for the state of Virginia and all he used was a BAR chambered in .270!!!
