Howard,

Thank you for your concern. My wife's family is inland, an hour or so north of Manila in the province of Masantol just of the Manila Bay,

My father's side is farther north in the Dagupan province near the Lingayen Gulf.

Both will experience heavy rains and some flooding as they are near rivers, but that happens yearly regardless of typhoons or not.
