Bill Maher on 'American Sniper' soldier Chris Kyle: 'He's a psychopath patriot'

On Friday’s episode of 'Real Time with Bill Maher,' the TV host said that he wanted the movie to portray Kyle with greater complexity. 'The idea that somebody has to be pure hero or pure traitor is ridiculous,' Maher said.

TV host said. “And ('American Sniper') is just, ‘American hero, he’s a psychopath patriot, and we love him.'”
