It was Cowboy Saturday at the Gold Coast Gunslingers in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
The story of the day was an Hawaiian scene western village. We were allowed to wear hawaiian shirts and shorts (if you only would wear a grass skirt on top) of the shorts.
Some took part and some (like your poster) only took partial part in the day's dress. As the temp's reached 100, the shooters went through 5 cases of water and then went onto 3 cases of soda. By Noon, we were all just about cooked and ready for cold showers.
About my shoot, well here goes.......
My day started off with the first two stages going clean and having some decent times.....we had a new shooter in our posse and on the third stage someone handed him a spotter flag (we use 3 spotters on each stage) and it was my turn to shoot.
I finished the 3 string, and the new shooter said that i had 5 misses. The other two spotters indicated that they saw none and two (actually they were lite hits). I took the 2 misses and moved on, I went clean the rest of the day and as they say, next week is another shoot.
