I have been wanting a small led flashlight for a while and was planning on getting a Fenix PD22. But I found this Nitecore MT1C on ebay that looked nice and the specs were a little better than the Fenix. 190 Lumens max output for the Fenix vs. 280 Lumens for the Nitecore. I got it here and it arrived in just a couple days. There are a couple youtube videos of it on this guys auction. Here is a pic next to a Minimag for comparison.
![]() It takes just a single 123 battery. ![]() This little light is super bright. It has six different modes, Turbo, High, Medium, Low, SOS, and Strobe. You switch the modes by pressing the tail cap half way. It came with a clip, lanyard, spare tail cap button and a couple spare washers. I got out my Ryobi 18v light to compare the brightness. ![]() In this next picture the Ryobi beam is on bottom and Nitecore on top. The Nitecore beam is brighter, clearer, and cleaner looking. Very impressive really. So for $38.95 I give this little light a thumbs up. If you want something a little bigger and even brighter they also make one that holds 2 batteries called the MT2C that you can find on ebay for about the same price. ![]() |
