OK guys and gal, here is my new "dealer sample" RIA Model 1500 22 Magnum rifle. I just picked it up so I have not had a chance to put any rounds through it and to be honest I do not have any 22 Magnum on hand right at the moment!!
Everything looks really nice except for the finish on the stock. It looks to be a quickly applied varnish type finish that is scheduled already for a stock strip down. Actually near the butt stock I can already flake off the finish. I believe this was a SHOT Show demo gun hence the flaking on the stock. If anyone has any good ideas on what product to use to strip the stock please chime in. A couple of teaser pictures!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
