I am not sure if this is the right place for this. My apologies if it is in the wrong section.
Long story short, I have some money to spend from the sale of a S&W Sport, and a penny here-and-there I have put away for such purposes. I intended to purchase a DW V-Bob Blem from a local LGS at a substantially reduced price. Sadly, it sold before I put all the money together. Do not know when/if such will turn up again. As a fall back plan, I am considering a Wiley Clapp Colt Commander or a DW Guardian (.45 bobtail). I've researched these pistols, they are both commanders, both alum frame, both are reported to be reliable. I am leaning towards the Guardian as I prefer no front slide serrations. Intended use is range/fun, but may eventually be carried. Reliability is a must. Anyone have experience with either or both of these? Opinions good and bad? Thanks!
