New to the ranks

Been a handgun shooter for 36 years!
Started with revolvers because I liked the way the were built. Went 1911 back in the late 70's my first was a Colt combat commander, shot ipsc with it back then, it was one of only a couple of guns I owned.
Own many now thank GOD!
Started working in Gun Shops 30+ years ago either part time of full time and have ever since.
Same time started gunsmithing under the pro's at those shops.
Pretty good gun plumber now.
Fix most anything, do a lot of 1911 work, mostly fit new parts for customers, smooth guns up, trigger work, and built a gun every couple of months for someone or build a spec gun for the shop.
Really like the SIG 1911's in the 1000.00 price class
BUT
the DW's are as nice a gun as you can get in the range and the one's that I've sold that have had a problem CS has been great and fixed it asap or went the part so I could square it up with the customer.
Currently a B class USPSA shooter in Production, Limited and SS. Just bought an open gun, boy is that a change!

The whole COTEP thing intriged me so I took the plunge and contacted Namvet and he filled me in so here I am.
Looking forward to sharing the info I have and recieving the info y'all have.
