I don't have a problem carrying a full size 1911 IWB.

Hi Sheepdog,

Again, I carry a full size 1911 myself IWB. I'm talking about carrying it in the appendix position (between 12:30-1:30 or so on a righty.) That I cannot wrap my head around. I've tried it using dummies of small pistols like the LCP, Sig P938 (want one of those so bad) etc, and even those aren't comfortable to me in that position. It's somewhat popular, but I sure can't do it. It's OK until I bend over or sit.

I agree.

I have no problem carrying IWB (usually a 3:00); but have less than NO interest in carrying AIWB.

I carry IWB full size 1911, on or just behind right hip.




I tried appendix carry for about a minute once, until I tried to sit down!
