7.62x39 Ammo question

I,m going to get an upper and convert a S&W AR15 to 7.62x39

What says the group as to the best/best value ammo for the range. Gonna see if the back will allow me to shoot this one.

I don't remember reviewing an AK but, happy to have some influence on you. Get the cheap Wolf brand ammo, AKs eat anything. Stay away from corrosive primers and you will be fine. I think you can pick up 1k rounds for around $240ish.

Wolf ammo is what I run in my sks, never had a problem with it.

you can pick it up at Walmart if you want to try some before you buy a lot.

I know where one with dozens of mags and 1000's of rounds of ammo lives...
