Dave is at peace today, with no more pain. May he be as much a blessing to heaven as he was to us on earth. Amen.

This hit me hard when Ell texted me to let me know... I feel a loss just as badly as if a Family member has left us, as that is what I considered Dave, and all of you folks here at COTEP, Family!

I've been blessed with Dave's online company on many occasions, and he has helped me in many ways, both with gun related questions, life's lessons, and the occasional talk about music. Dave always had time to spend, and was always very personable, he listened to what I had to say and made it very apparent he was interested and enjoying the time we spent chatting online.

Dave helped me with some shotgun and rifle purchases in the past, and if it were not for his welcome advice, I'd had made some bad decisions, but most affectionately I remember him guessing at some of my guitar equipment with spot on accuracy...

As I write this with teardrops hitting the keyboard, I took a minute to pluck out a small acoustic guitar piece I want to dedicate to Dave's memory, may you rest in peace and enjoy life everlasting good friend!

It is a very raw and unedited file, with absolutely no production involved, just a minute of tribute with some chords and notes that have been with me for a very long time...

Here is my strum to Dave: http://soundcloud.com/scott-st-pierre/for-dave-waits

My thoughts and prayers to all of Dave's Family and Friends, and my most sincere prayers for Dave to be at peace, pain free and in Gods Kingdom.

My very best to you all!

-scott
