this handgun by Sam Hoster of Custom Defense, LLC is chambered for the Russian 7.62x25mm Tokarev caliber, a suped-up variant of the 7.63 Mauser cartridge introduced with the equally classic Mauser C96 pistol. To make the conversion work, Sam adapted magazines from the Colt Mark III National Match 1911, which were originally designed for wadcutter-loaded .38 Special match ammunition.
