Update. The 1" riser ended up being lower 1/3 cowitness, which is fine except for the fact I can no longer zip up the soft hanging gunrack in the truck, and in Florida, all long guns must be securely encased and not within easy reach. So I ordered a short and a midrange to see what works. I did shoot hell out of a stump behind the house for function check, and all brass landed in a pile about 6 feet away. I also ordered more pmags and a rubber recoil pad so Jake can shoot it...he already has learned how to field strip it.
