Ok,

The eraser did not work, but steel wool and some EEZOX did the trick ! It completely eliminated the brass marks.

I must confess that I was a little concerned about using steel wool but the article eased my mind. It did not phase that duty coat one bit, I'm certainly impressed with the durability now !

Dragonslayer ... I figured someone would have to do it !

I did get the camera out to take some shots, only to find a dead battery. So I can only give you some pics. after the repair.

Believe me though ... no harm to that finish at all !!!

Very cool friend! I had to rag ya a little!!!

DW refers to the pistols as having the "Duty Treatment" which isnt a coating at all. I think its awsome for a stainless pistol!

You are correct, "Duty Treatment" would be the term that slipped my mind.

The terminology slipped my mind from the get go ...
