A father's lesson in tough love

Dad Vented. He feels better - for now. Daughter is PO'd beyond description and will remain so for years over this incident. I see a long history of lack of serious communication between them and escalating hurtful events toward each other for several years to come. There is pent up anger over other things we do not know, and that anger has found a release that is not going to be a solution. Both father and daughter are acting the same way. He needs to be the adult; not the child. I feel sorry for this family.

I agree with you, I thought it was Funny, but you are right about the long term effects of this and they probably will not be pleasant. Also I see a new laptop in the home in about a month. n
