That makes a little sense but, this training is for people who carry. So, if you carry a 1911, you should train with said 1911. Just my $0.03

The Carry Gaurd Program is thier insurance and training program. I wonder if the insurance part has anything to do with the decision..??..

Fair enough... but I'm guessing that they're anticipating more people who carry but "aren't" trained at all or not proficiently trained in their EDC...

I went to the website and looked under training. It calls for revolver or semi auto, no references to the 1911. This may be fake news.

If true the totally steppin' on their crank, and supposedly it's a three day course for $850!!! So regardless of exclusion of a particular type of pistol or revolver...Nope!
