PS: check out the sun shade I threw on there. I think it makes it look like it has serious business to attend to. Also, the muzzle is threaded so I’ll throw a brake on there as soon as I find it (wherever the hell I put it, can’t find it now).

Looking great bud, and a awesome job on your write up as well. It looks as though the scope/rings are set up as a quick detach?? The sun shade does add a 'serious business' look. BTW, if you're like me you probably put the muzzle brake somewhere where you wouldn't loose it.

good job. For those interested, once your rifle is level, you can hang a string with a weight like a plumb bob and look through the scope to set the vertical cross hair

C aleb Question:
What am I seeing on the bottom side of the barrel in front of the fore grip in some of the pics?

Thank you.

I haven’t personally seen or read anything that shows definitive accuracy issues by not “breaking in” a new barrel. So, generally I just shoot it with however many rounds I brought that particular day. Also, I believe you will not see the actual accuracy of a barrel till it fouls up properly. What I usually do with a new barrel is to shoot how ever many rounds I brought then, clean it really well at home base. The next few range trips after that get no cleaning till I see the accuracy falling off. I will run a bore snake through it every now and then though.

Convince me otherwise and I might listen.
