Day 30...

I first met Luke Swenson, a local San Antonio Knife Maker several years ago at a Knife Show in Dallas. At the time Luke was also a San Antonio Fire Fighter who has since retired from his First Responder job and now makes knives full-time.

Luke told me that the SFFD was having a fund raiser for one of their own who was diagnosed with throat cancer. Luke said he was going to have one of his knives in the silent auction; so I bid high enough to "win" the auction! Stag jigged bone and a rear lock release; shown with my 1962 Vintage Colt SAA chambered in .357 Magnum.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.
