My ophthalmologist is a target shooter - I'm talking about a precision match shooter that uses peep sights, so I think he will be able to steer me right.
He says I have them, but it's not time yet for the surgery. I have unusually good night vision for my age (66), much better than my wife who is six years younger than I am. But I am beginning to see the signs. If you want to slow down the development of cataracts, avoid UV light, because ultraviolet light is one of the major risk factors for both cataracts and macular degeneration. Wear sunglasses that block 100% of UV, even on cloudy days. ![]()

It's so nice not having to wear glasses, for anything, from reading small print all the way out to distance and everything in between ... being able to see sights and cross hairs clear as a bell, shooting is a whole new ball game for me now. I told the Doc that and he said .... "I told you so !!"

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. |
