Another option is the Spyderco Street Bowie. It’s what I carry as an EDC.

I have the ESEE as a truck knife, however.

I’m not bad at sharpening but, don’t want to spend a ton of time doing it all the time. So, maybe a steel that is in the middle of holding an edge and easy to sharpen.

A local place has their stuff for sale, not a lot of options but let me check in the morning.

You might get lucky...something you haven't been able to do for a while!

The Spyderco is mainly a defensive blade, correct? I’m looking for a “can do all” type of blade. If it can serve as a defensive blade as well then, it’s a plus.

Sorry, he doesn't have any 4" or 5" blades. He had 2 of the ESEE3 in shop. Like this one: https://eseeknives.com/product/esee-3

and some of the little pointer spear things.

He said your (my price is $59) Shipping would be maybe another $10ish? Not sure but Its only a 3" blade so I know its smaller than you wanted.

I have this blade and its one of my hunting favorites!

sorry I couldn't be more help

If you were really interested in waiting I could contact ESEE directly and get LEO pricing direct. It would take me a few days to get it but I would do it for you. Their direct pricing is pretty good if I remember correctly.
