Bedside weapon and carry weapon have different priorities. I'm solidly in the 1911 fan boy club, but my bedside handgun is a Charter Bulldog 44 Special.

Point and Click.

Nothing else to think about when I'm half asleep and need something to go BOOM! ASAP.

Shut up, Roach. My first carry gun in 1977 was a stainless 4 inch Security Six. It was a tank. Reloaded for it with a whackamole while smokin Marleboros

I had a Marlin lever action .357 as well. Sold them a LONG time ago, and nowadays, really wish I had kept them. This was before the days when I reloaded anything but shotgun ammo.
