Doc..... we're not QUITE Illinois.... although we have some really stupid laws here. There is no such thing as a CCW in CT (you are correct). The permit actually states "Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers." BUT.... the statute specifically states that the weapon should be carried in such a manner so as not to alarm the general populace, and all effort should be made to keep it concealed. Go FIGGER!! So the law is actually an open carry law, but I guarantee if I go down the street with a DW on my side, I'll get stopped by a cop every 25 yards. Guaranteed.
WE still have the 94 ban in place. GRRRRR.... All this said.... BBQ guns??? I gotta love this! We DO bring our guns to cookouts (the gentile CT way of saying BBQ) and show them to one another. Just in the house out of the neighbor's eyesight! Da ![]()
