Thumbs up

I have the Lyman unit, the 2500 model, and you can see by the dimensions of the basket (9" x 5" x 3") that it isn't a whopper by any means, but I got it at a reasonable price during a sale which I think came to about $99 shipped. I find it handy for small degreasing and deep cleaning jobs (used it to de-cosmo some surplus parts including a few magazines and plan to use it on some receivers/actions to get into the nooks and crannies that are tough to reach for the sake of degreasing and prepping for refinishing. I've yet to actually use it for brass cleaning but it does a good job at parts cleaning in just 8 minutes. I'm glad I bought it. I plan to get some cans down the road and I know it will be handy for those as well which is another reason why I anticipated this purchase. I'd say get a deal where and when you can if it suits you. The missing lid isn't too big of a hassle, I wouldn't think.

Lyman has their Turbo Sonic 6000 ultrasonic cleaner available. It can clean up to 900 9MM cases and take the grips off of your pistols and put them in the 6.2 quart size tank for a through cleaning!!!

The retail price is $349.95 but I have seen them listed for $247.99!!

My deal just fell through. It was a nice unit too, BPI industreal unit. She found out that she could sell them on ebay, well her kids did for over $125 and they wouln't sell me one for less than $150...I told them no thanks. If it would of been around the $100 mark I would have snatched it up but not for that money. I don't really need one, I am a tumbling fool now, but thought it would be a good deal for cheap enough money.
