That technique of warming the metal parts is also one advocated by Militec-1. I've been using that product for about a decade and have had no problems at all. It seems to penetrate the metal and provide lubrication even when appearing "dry" which I note is also a claim of Frog Lube.

Sounds pretty interesting, I will have to order both and give them a try. I actually went to range today and the Wilson Combat Ultima-Lube II (Universal) works great. It keep the pistols lubricated the entire trip and when I was done It also made clean up a bit easier since i put a light coat over the areas that get the most build up of carbon and crap. That stuff wipe off pretty simple. Anyways thanks for posting. -Ryan S
