Which Mags?

On a lighter notę though, I fear I may have shat in my nest....

Last night around 9:30 pm I recieved an email from Damascus

Gun Shop that a few Black V-Bob's came in......for $1790 shipped*

But, I held off as I really want the stainless version......at any ratę I

thought what the heck they have them in stock so, at 1030 am I

was just gonna go ahead and get one......at least I thought I was....they

were already gone.........didnt last 12 hours! Oh well, I reckon I will hołd

out for the stainless V-Bob now.

Well, I talked to Brownells and they do not have the Tripp mags on sale. They may have them on for you personally. They said that email you got was prolly as customer satisfaction email. That's what they said anyways. thx again for providing the link and trying to help me.

Watch for sales on Colt mags on MidwayUSA, which are really Checkmate Hybrids branded by Colt. I stocked up when they were on sale for around $16. All my 1911s like them. It's the only mag that works reliably in my Series-80 (only Colt mags work in my Colt...go figure )

It may be a while though. They only have 7 round stainless mags in stock right now, and the estimate for when they will get the 8 round mags in is next year some time.
