no, I've never intentionally burnt a set of grips lol, I have used tiger stripe maple though.

well I wish I could but I'm afraid I can't, I made them back when I first started making grips and I didn't take pictures of everything I made.

Too bad. I've never considered custom grips until now and really think that style would be sharp! If you come across the proper wood in the future, please keep me in mind, thanks much.

a friend of mine will actually be posting some maple for sale on another forum Sunday, i'll look it over and if it's good enough quality i'll get some and let you know.
