Shot the Escort for the first time today. 100rds total with 50 being Remington 230gr ball and 50 PPU 230gr ball.
My question is with the PPU ammo. I noticed that I had "shavings" of brass or plating from the bullet in the pistol after being fired. See crappy pics below, the gold specs are the shavings. I inspected the brass and did not see anything out of the ordinary. No dents, no scrapes, no tears, no bulges, ect...they looked normal. I thought it was the extractor causing it but, I see no signs of damage on the casings. Never seen this before although I don't shoot a lot of PPU ammo. So, is this normal or should I look into something? ![]() ![]() ![]()
