Default New (to me) DW

Finally found me a 2008 Dan Wesson SSC... I've been looking for a while, this one popped up locally.

Its very lightly used, no major flaws or marks. Typical DW trigger. Hope to shoot it tomorrow or this weekend.

You are going to love the SSC! They are really accurate but can be a bit fussy. Have patience. I needed to find the right ammo, the right mags (Tripp) and do some polishing to the chamber and feedramp but now it runs great. I have a bunch of DWs but the SSC is the one I shoot most! Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Yeah, need to order some Tripp System mags, and play with loads. I'm not 100% set up to load .40, but have some factory stuff laying around to shoot while I wait on bullets to arrive.

I have a EGW "High" mag catch laying around that I've read helps the .40's also if I have any problems.

Nice find. I've only seen one of them, and it was heavily used (and over priced for condition).

The owners of Tripps had their house destroyed in the Bastrop fires in Texas..business is ok, but you may have to have a little patience. Congrats on the pistol

Very cool. I haven't had the chance to see one in person yet.

Let us know how she fires...

Congrats.
