I always liked the Kershaw tactical blur series. I owned three of them. Several things I liked about them, one, spring assisted, two, sharpness (cut myself several times, and the third was their textured grip. They come with serrated and non serrated blades.
It's my EDC for my dominant side.
Good quality knives for the money. Won't break the bank.

I'm going to have to agree with the rest and suggest the Kershaw Blur line. I have the Tanto Blur (as does ) and it sharpens up real nicely and the serrations sharpen just as easily. They do the Blur in Tanto and a drop point as well, and it's not too pricey.
